About Tassel Fern

Believe it or not, the Huperzia Squarrosa Tassel Fern has been around a long time - even longer than the dinosaurs! This prehistoric Prickle Plant looks super unique, it's trailing tasselled leaves grow down in interesting shapes that are bound to attract comments from guests.

Coming from the West Indian Ocean, the Tassel Fern likes a humid environment. Give it a regular mist and water to keep it happy, and avoid direct sunlight - think bright and indirect. The Huperzia Squarrosa is a slow grower, but that doesn't mean it isn't large! Its trailing leaves can quickly take over a spot, so give it the room it needs to thrive - just make sure to keep out the way of pets as it's toxic to your little friends.

As you can probably tell from looking at it, the Tassel Fern can be a little difficult to dust. But not to worry, we've got a secret tip - pop your Huperzia Fern into the shower to remove a build-up of dust on its leaves, and it will be happy as Larry.
