Humidity

I'm mad about mist, if you mist me regularly I'll love you forever!

Light

I can handle a little shade that's thrown my way, but I prefer to be in bright, indirect sunlight.

Watering

Everything in moderation is my motto, so I like to be watered little but often, keeping my soil moist.

About Lil' Medallion Prayer Plant

This funky little baby Calathea is pretty much the perfect houseplant as it is shade-tolerant and pet-friendly! As well, even if you choose to repot your baby plant regularly, it will only grow to a maximum height of 1m.

To best care for your Calathea Roseopicta baby plant, water it little and often and mist it occasionally. Its leaves will curly when it is looking for more water, and crisp when it's craving some more humidity. The best care tip we can give is to never let the soil dry out, and mist it lots.

Cut off any leaves that are damaged or looking depressed to keep your baby Calathea looking and feeling its best.

Your South American Calathea Veitchiana baby plant will be happiest in your living room or bedroom in nice warm temperatures of 18-22°C. This plant can handle as low as 15°C if you prefer it a bit cooler, but we don't recommend keeping it that temperature for long. Give your baby Rose Painted Calathea a trim when you notice any damaged or sad looking leaves.

At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Calathea Roseopicta baby plant questions @prickleplantsuk.
