Your Lil' Coffee Plant will go into hibernation over the cold months. Don't worry if you see some leaves falling off, once Spring comes it will recover!

About Lil' Coffee Plant

Full disclosure, if you're expecting to buy your Lil' Coffee Plant and immediately have fresh Arabica coffee beans growing and your Coffee Arabica plant filling your home with the scent of freshly brewed coffee, you're going to be disappointed. Coffee plants don't actually smell like coffee and getting them to grow beans can take a lot of hard work and patience.

However, we still love this Lil' Prick since its bright green leaves add a gorgeous pop of colour to your home. Your East African Coffea Arabica plant likes it nice and warm - between 20-25°C and no lower than 18°C with some humidity. Find it a spot with bright, indirect sunlight. We recommend keeping it in your kitchen (it is a coffee plant and that's where coffee lives after all) but it would also be happy in your bathroom or hallway. Just like us and the multiple cups of coffee we require to make it through the day, your Lil' Coffee Plant prefers to be watered little and often. Just like you wouldn't give your pet or child a cup of coffee, keep them away from your coffee plant too as it is toxic to them.

At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Coffee baby plant questions @prickleplantsuk.
